Common questions

How do I change my PIN?

To change your PIN, go to Settings → Lock & PIN. Easy.

I forgot my code.

On the lock screen, tap "Forgot your code?" and use your phone's passcode to set a new one. Your diary stays as it is.

I lost my phone, or got a new one.

Lost your phone? Your diary went with it, by design. Nothing about your crushes is stored anywhere else. A new phone starts fresh, Hearts and items included.

I switched to the Bottle icon. Now what?

Switched to the Bottle? Spot Me still opens the same way.

I paid for Hearts but they didn't show up.

Open Settings → Purchases and tap Restore purchases. Anything you paid for that got interrupted is delivered there.

How do I erase everything?

Settings → Privacy → Start fresh. It can't be undone, so Spot Me asks you to type ERASE first.
